Fuel prices rise on Thursday; gets costlier by 28-42 pl

New Delhi, Jan 10 (UNI) After remaining unchanged for last two days, fuel prices were revised on Thursday as petrol, diesel prices became costlier by 28-42 paise per litre across various cities of the country.
In the national capital Delhi, petrol costs Rs 68.88 per litre as against Rs 68.50 yesterday while diesel is at Rs 62.53, against yesterday’s price of Rs 62.24.
In Mumbai, petrol is at Rs 74.53, higher than yesterday’s price of Rs 74.16 while diesel is retailing at Rs 65.43, 31 paise more than yesterday’s price of Rs 65.12 per litre.
In Chennai petrol is retailing at Rs 71.47 and diesel Rs 66.01 a litre and in Kolkata petrol costs Rs 71.01 and diesel Rs 64.30 per litre.
Similarly, in Noida, petrol costs Rs 69.79 a litre and diesel price was hiked to Rs 62.18 as against Rs 61.93 yesterday. In Gurugram, petrol, diesel prices rose to Rs 70.12 a litre and Rs 62.79 per litre.
