Guru Nanak Nagar Kirtan: Delhi Traffic Police diverts routes

New Delhi, Nov 10 (UNI) In view of the celebrations of 550th Guruparb of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Monday, the Delhi Traffic Police have made traffic arrangements for the Nagar Kirtan procession, which will include thousands of devotees, to go smoothly. According to traffic police,  the procession to be taken out by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, will begin at around 1000 hrs from Gurudwara Shish Ganj and conclude  at around 2100 hrs at Nanal Piau Gurudwara.

The route will include Shish Ganj Gurudwara- Kodiapul- SPM Marg – Church mission road- Khari Baoli- Lahori Gate Chowk- Qutub Road- Azad Market- Roshanara Road- Shakti Nagar Chowk- Gurudwara Nanak Piau. Traffic movement will be affected on the given route and surrounding areas due to procession, police said.

Police has accordingly asked the motorists to avoid certain roads and follow the diversions on Subhash Marg Red Fort Crossing, HC Sen Marg to SPM Marg, Town Hall, Fatehpuri T Point, Ajmeri Gate, Pul Mithai, Azad Market, DCM Chowk, Rohtak Road at Rani Jhansi Road, New Rohtak Road, East Park Road, Round About at Jhandewalan, Rohtak Road, Faiz Road, Baraf Khana Chowk, Mori Gate Chowk, Boliver Road, Mori Gate, Nangia Park, Kalidas Marg, Roop Nagar Chowk and the Parade Ground T Point.
