New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Jnanpith awardee renowned Hindi writer Krishna Sobti, passed away here on Friday. She was 94.Famous poet and Sanskrit writer Ashok Vajpayee told UNI that Ms Sobti passed away at 0830 hrs in a private hospital.She had been ailing for a very long time.”Her death is an irreparable loss to Hindi Literature,” he said. Her funeral will be held at the Electrical Cemetery of Nigam Bodh Ghat at 1600 hrs.
