Mumbai, Jan 25 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday rose by 191.23 points to 36,386.33 in the opening trade as buying was seen in Telecom, IT, FMCG, Oil& Gas,Bnakex and Capital Goods stocks.The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too improved by 43.95 points to 10,987.75. The sensex registered intra day high and low at 36,474.48 and 36,216.41respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,931.70 and 10,858.20 points respectively.
The gainers were Yes Bank by 6.48 percent to Rs 227.70, Bharti Airtel by 2.80 pc to Rs 310.05,HCL Tech by 1.59 pc to Rs 962.30, Tata motors by 1.43 pcv to Rs 177.87 and TCS by 1.19 pc to Rs1924.40.
The losers were HEromotco by 1.59 pc to Rs 2743.75, ICICI Bank by 1.53 pc to Rs 359.40, Asian Piants by 0.52 pc to Rs 1393.00, NTPC by 0.25 pc to Rs 139.65 and Tata steel by 0.24 pc to RS 459.70
