New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated ISRO scientists for successful launch of Microsat-R, a military satellite onboard its Polar rocket PSLV C44, from the spaceport in the first mission for the ISRO in 2019.
“With this launch, India also becomes the first country to use the fourth stage of a space rocket as an orbital platform for micro-gravity experiments,” Prime Minister tweeted.
He further wrote: “Heartiest congratulations to our space scientists for yet another successful launch of PSLV. This launch has put in orbit Kalamsat, built by India’s talented students”.
ISRO on Thursday successfully launched military satellite Microsat-R for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and students-built nano-satellite “Kalamsat” from Sriharikota spaceport.
