India administers over 168 crore doses of COVID vaccines 

New Delhi: Over 168 crore doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive so far. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said, more than 47 lakh 53 thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours to the eligible beneficiaries.

The country reported over one lakh 27 thousand new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at 13 lakh 31 thousand 648. The Union Health Ministry said, more than two lakh 30 thousand Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 95.64 percent. More than four crore two lakh patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far.

The Ministry said, more than 73 crore 79 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far. More than 16 lakh Covid test have been conducted in the last 24 hour.
