Soon after, the India lost to New Zealand by eight wickets in the fourth ODI in Hamilton, few hours later on Thursday Dave Richardson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the International Cricket Council (ICC) said India are the favourites for the ICC world cup 2019.
ICC Chief said on the occasion that The International Cricket Council (ICC) and Coca-Cola India, here jointly announced that they have entered into a five years of global strategic partnership.
When Richardson was asked about his claim, that India is the strong contender for the title in the World Cup, but the team was bundled out on 92 runs in the fourth ODI in New Zealand’s Hamilton, Richardson smiled at it and said , “Everyone has their own day.”
