An infant from Patna, who was on way to Delhi for treatment of heart ailment, died following a medical emergency onboard a SpiceJet flight on Wednesday night.
A couple was travelling with their six-month-old child on SpiceJet flight. They were taking the infant to Delhi for treatment but his health condition got worse onboard.
Doctors on the plane tried to help the child but all went in vain, the airline said.
Due to the medical emergency, the plane made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport where a doctors’ team was already deployed. After examining the child, they declared him brought dead.
The airline, however, claimed that they were not informed about infant’s heart ailment.
