New Delhi, Jan 10 (UNI) Vietnamese smartphone company Mobiistar on Thursday here launched its much-awaited notch smartphone–X1 Notch with 13 MP AI selfie camera at just Rs 10,000/.
Mobiistar Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Carl Ngo at the launch said, “Our aim is to develop the smartphone segment in India by understanding the consumer need for a selfie smartphone and their desire to gain more enjoyment at great value.”
“We are investing efforts on mobile technology adoption and expanding selfie experiences for India,” added Mr Carl whose company has also launched CI Shine smartphone for users who likes to flaunt their mobile handsets among their friends and colleagues.
The company with tagline ‘Enjoy More’ came to India in May 2018 with its Star Selfie Series and went on to announce its offline expansion in August with the launch of a range of 5 selfie centric smartphones.
Mobiistar has already partnered with over 500 distributors across the country to bolster its operations.
“The company has also set up 1000 service centres to provide best in class after sales services to its customers. With the promise of a pan India presence, currently Mobiistar is already present in 475 cities and 27 states,” said Mobiistar Chief Marketing Officer Aniruddha Deb.
Mr Deb also shared that in next three months the company expects to sell 50,000 units of smartphones. The company also has its focus more on offline marketing as they want to create a strong customer base across the country.
The C1 Shine smartphone allows its users to take great selfies and comes in incredible designs at an affordable cost of Rs 6000/-.
Meanwhile, the sleek curved glass design with dual colour glass back, the X1 Notch is a stunning combination of good looks and attractive pricing of Rs 10,000 comes equipped with Notch display for comfortable viewing and gaming.
“This device allows you to take the perfect selfies with its 13 MP AI selfie camera that takes incredible images even in low light. This device will be available in 3 dazzling colours – Gradient Shine, Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. The dual SIM dual VoLTE empowers users to keep HD Calls active on both SIM cards thus enhancing calling experience while allowing users to choose to run data or call on both 4G VoLTE enabled and regular carrier SIM card,” shared Mr Carl.
“Pricing plays an important role. Customers want more in less. We have focused on both fronts–Technology as well as body. The 13MP selfie camera not only takes good pictures but brings confidence. The 5.7 inch HD Display provides stunning videos and images,” added the CEO.

The Mobiistar X1 Notch will be available in 2 variants – 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
The company provides one year warranty on hardware product while six months replacement warranty on accessories such as earphone, charger and battery
The company in future will also tie up with e-commerce platform but as of now the products will be available at mobile retail stores.
