Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti and also the Odia New Year.
Mr Modi tweeted “wishing the vibrant Odia community a happy new year, new aspiration an new hope.”
“This Mahavisub Sankrati may all your wishes come true. Praying for everyone‘s well being and happiness,” the Prime Minister said.
Chief minister Naveen Patnaik also extended his greetings and best wishes on Maha Visubha Sankrati and Odia new year.
“Let the new year be a year of happiness and prosperity for all of us,” he tweeted.
Mr Patnaik also paid tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. (UNI)
