Deb Kalyan Mohanty assumed charge as the new Director (Commercial), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) here on Thursday. Prior to this assignment, Mohanty had worked as Executive Director, Chairman Secretariat in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), VSP said in a release here. Mohanty, who finished his M Tech degree in the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in Materials Science and Technology, started his career in SAIL as a Management Trainee (Technical) in 1986.
He has worked in various assignments in SAIL starting with Bhilai Steel Plant and as a Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Head of Export Group in Marketing Division during his long tenure of 33 years in SAIL. Mohanty is a thoroughly dedicated Marketing professional with passion to succeed in all times, the release said. (UNI)
