More than 38 Bills will be tabled in the Parliament Session beginning from June 17, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mines and Coal Prahlad Joshi said today.
Speaking to newsmen at the Airport here on Saturday, he said that Bills to be moved during the Session includes extension of President’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir State, Triple Talaq and other legislative related issues.
“Will get the nod of the House for all these bills with the co-operation from the opposition parties” he added.
“We have met the leaders of the opposition parties in the Parliament and sought their co-operation in conducting the smooth function of the House” he said.
Replying to a question, Joshi, who is also Union Minister for Mines and Coal opposed the Karnataka Cabinet’s
decision to hand over 3600 acres of land to JSWi at throw-away price.
Demanding a through inquiry into the deal. he said and added there seems to be no government in the State as all the development works got stranded.
