Mother, her three children die after she jumps before a speeding train

A mother and her three children were killed while another critically injured when she along with her four children jumped before a speeding train apparently due to family dispute near Jehanabad railway station on  Patna-Gaya section of East Central railway today.

Police said here that woman and her three children died on the spot after she along with them jumped before the running train near Jehanabad railway station.

Sources said her three year old daughter survived with critical injuries. Prima
facie it appeared that the woman along with her children jumped before either
Ganga Damodar Express or Palamu Express.

Police said the deceased woman was around 35 years of age while age of three
children was between 6 and 12. The deceased could not be identified immediately.
The critically injured child was rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital after
her preliminary treatment in Jehanabad. The bodies had been sent to Jehanabad
Sadar Hospital. The woman took the extreme step apparently due to family dispute.
