Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Pradesh Congress Chief Niranjan Patnaik today prayed for the well being and safe return of Wing Commander Varthaman Abhinandan who has been taken into custody in Pakistan during an aerial engagement with Pakistan.
In a tweet Patnaik said: “Saluting the courage and valour of our forces, I hope and pray for the wellbeing and safe return of our brave pilot. #OurForceOurHero.”
Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Niranjan Patnaik also hailed and saluted the wing Commander’s courage and spirit.
In a tweet, the Congress leader said: “Salute Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s courage & indomitable spirit. A billion Indians are praying for his safety and well being. He will be back soon #AbhinandanMyHero #Mera JawanSabseMajboot.’’
