Bhubaneswar:-Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today celebrated Diwali with the children of SOS village situated in the outskirts of the capital city. Mr. Patnaik spent some time with the children of the SOS village in the evening and celebrated Diwali with the children. He later announced Rs. 20 lakh for the SOS village. Patnaik had advised the Chief Secretary,development Commissioner, Agricultural Production Commissioner and officers of Chief Minister office to visit the child care institutions and celebrate Diwali with children.
All Collectors, he said, will also visit child care institutions in their district. The Director General of Police and all senior police officers, superintendent of police have been advised to spend time in battalions and celebrate Diwali there with jawans and their family members today.
