Nissan to launch electric vehicle on Indian roads in six months

Kuehl today announced to open 40 outlets to reach out to ever

increasing customers across India for its passenger vehicles, especially

with the launching KICKS dubbed Intelligent SUV.

After unveiling its latest four-wheeler – KICKS- a Make in India

product as the cars are being produced Nissan’s plant at Oragadam,

Chennai, Mr Kuehl said the company was focusing the Indian markets,

including Kolkata and others parts of eastern Indian cities to increase

its market share in auto industry.

“We have already invested one billion dollars in India and over 8500

engineers at work equipped with R&D support to cater ever increasing

demand of their cars,” said Mr Kuehl.

The new Nissan KICKS offers owners an exceptional combination of

premium-ness, spacious interiors and stylish exteriors.

With best-in-class features drive innovation and comfort the new KICKS

is available at an introductory price of Rs 9,55,000 lakh across India.

“The new Nissan KICKS has generated a great amount of curiosity and

excitement among customers. It is a complete vehicle package with an

exceptional combination of intelligent technology, class-leading

premium-ness, intelligent choice of ownership, personalization. The

maintenance package is best-in-class and offers a hassle-free

ownership experience,’said Mr Kuehl.

technology, as well as many best-in-class propositions, the new Nissan

KICKS will stand out in this competitive SUV segment in India,” he added.

Available in four variants, XL, XV, XV Premium, and XV Premium+ in

diesel, and two dynamic variants- XL, XV in petrol, the new Nissan

KICKS will come in 11 colours: Pearl White; Blade Silver; Bronze Grey;

Fire Red; Amber Orange; Deep Blue Pearl; Night Shade; Fire Red and

Onyx Black; Bronze Grey and Amber Orange; Pearl White and Onyx Black,

and Pearl White and Amber Orange.

For the first 10,000 customers of new Nissan KICKS three-year

warranty, maintenance package (up to 30,000 kms) and 24×7 road side

assistance will be absolutely free of charge. Customers can extend up

to five years by paying a nominal fee.

Mr Kuehl said they would introduce electric car on the Indian roads in

six months time to cater new general demand for smoke free vehicle.
