Odisha government imposes lockdown in 14 districts of Odisha. Steps may be contemplated later to bring other districts to lockdown in view of the enormity of the spread of the COVID-19.
Besides the complete suspension of railway communication by the Centre, the state government has decided to suspend the bus services all over the state from tonight besides strict restriction of public transport in the cities.
Social distancing being the primary tool against the spread of COVID-19, barring essential outlets like vegetable, grocery and non-veg, rest of the shops shall be closed to avoid clustering of people outside.
