Odisha Election: Two prominent leaders of BJD have joined BJP today. They are Cuttack MP Bhartuhari Mahatab and former MP Siddhanta Mohapatra. Along with them, social worker Padmashri Damayanti Beshra has also joined the BJP. All have formally joined the BJP at its headquarters in Delhi.
BJP State President Manmohan Samal, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, National Vice President Baijayanta Panda, Odisha Pravhari Vijyapal Singh Tomar attended the merger festival. Bhartuhari resigned from BJD on March 22nd 2024. It was then reported that he will join the BJP.
