Odisha Election2024: Former Salepur MLA Prakash Behera has finally resigned from the BJP. He has sent his resignation letter to party president Manmohan Samal today. Prakash was the Cuttack district BJP president. In 2014, he became Salepure MLA from Congress.
Later in 2019, he left the Congress and joined the BJP and became an MLA candidate. But he was lost. Prakash is likely to merge with BJD soon. As the BJD party has not declared for the Salepur assembly constituency, there are rumors that he will contest on the BJD ticket from that seat.
