The Odisha government has approved 335 proposals worth Rs 5, 36,713.10 crore during the last 15 years, Industries Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra told the state Assembly today.Replying to a question of Mohan Charan Majhi (BJP), the Minister said the proposals were approved from 2004 to June 2019 on the recommendations of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority.
He said, as per an estimate it would create employment opportunities for 3,01,273 people.In addition to it, the government has signed MoU with 92 industrial houses to set up industries.
Mishra said, as per an assessment the 427 projects would create opportunities for capital investment of Rs 11,05,361.49 crore and 4,64,741 job opportunities.The Minister said, out of the 427 project proposals as many as 105 have already been set up at an estimated cost of Rs 2,97,392.12 crore and started functioning either partially or fully.
