In a brutal incident a 60 year-old man was murdered by his own 25 year-old son just for advising him not to overuse his smartphone, at Kakathi village in the outskirts of the city in the early hours of today.
Police said that after murdering his father Shankerappa Kumbar, the accused Raghuvir, not satisfied with his death was separating the body parts when the Police team overpowered him and arrested.
The victim Kumbar had retired from Police service just three months back.
