People want change in Maharashtra, says Pawar

Modi not serious about farmers problems: Sharad Pawar

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar has said that people in the Maharashtra state were looking for a change in the political leadership.
While addressing an election rally at Gevrai in Beed district on Saturday evening, where party nominee Vijaysinh Pandit is contesting the assembly election, he said that he came to this conclusion after visiting several places in the state and talking to the people.

Pawar said people of the state knew well what he had done for the state.
“People of state know well what I have done for Maharashtra,” he said, adding that the BJP president AMit Shah’s recent comment about his work was uncalled for.
“Mr Shah is new to politics,” Mr Pawar commented, adding that Mr Shah’s party knew it very well that they were losing the assembly election this time.

He said that the BJP was raising issue like abrogation of Article 370 but was keeping silence on several issues like unemployment. (UNI)
