Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday evening chaired a meeting of the National Security Council.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attended the meeting, apart from National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary V K Gokhale.
The meeting comes amid tensions between India and Pakistan, following the February 24 terrorist attack in Pulwama.
On February 25, the Indian Air Force carried out air strikes at Balakot in Pakistan to destroy the terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed, which reportedly carried out the Pulwama attack. (UNI)
