Today is 74th birthday of President Ram Nath Kovind. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning greeted him on the occasion. “Greetings to Rashtrapati Ji on his birthday. India has gained significantly from his insights and understanding of policy matters. One can always see his passion towards empowering the poor and downtrodden,” Mr Modi tweeted. “May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life,” Prime Minister wrote. Born October 1, 1945, Mr Kovind is the 14th President of India. He is in in office since July 25, 2017. He had also served as the Governor of Bihar from 2015 to 2017 and was a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006.
