PM to visit Tripureswari Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to Tripureswari Temple, Udaipur in Tripura’s Gomati District Tripura today.

The preparation is all set in compliance with the laws on the eve of PM visit at Tripureswari Temple,informed the district administration.

Mr Modi is scheduled to worship Goddess Tripureshwari at around 11.30am. He will also attend the political meeting at Udaipur to do camping in favour of BJP candidates who are contesting from Tripura in the Lok Sabha election.

Tripura East Lok Sabha constituency is one of the two Lok Sabha constituencies in Tripura state in northeastern India. The seat is reserved for scheduled tribes. In the first elections in 1952, the seat was represented by Dasarath Deb, the leader of the Ganamukti Parishad uprising.

Tripura West Lok Sabha constituency is one of two Lok Sabha constituencies in Tripura state in northeastern India and it includes the state capital Agartala.

A total of 23 candidates are contesting from different political parties in case of both the Lok Sabha constituencies in Tripura this year.

The security arrangement is tight here on the eve of PM visit. The security person has been being issued a special pass for journalists and political leaders who likely to present in the PM meeting.

PM will also join political camping at Udaipur in favour of Pratima Bhowmik who is contesting as a candidate of BJP party from Tripura West Lok Sabha constituency.
