Showing an unprecedented and unique gesture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday washed feet of sanitation workers here as a mark of appreciation for their unparallel service to humanity.
The video went viral on social media too.
Prime Minister took a ‘snaan’ – holy dip – at the Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj.
He participated in the Swachh Kumbh Swachh Aabhaar event, organised by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
“Had the good fortune of taking a holy dip at the #Kumbh. Prayed for the well being of 130 Crore Indians,” earlier he tweeted also posting the video of his ‘snan’ – holy dip.(UNI)
