Chandigarh, Nov 3 (UNI) In a view of alarming pollution level in Delhi and the NCR, Haryana Government on Sunday announced closure of all private, aided and government school till class 12th on November in Gurugram and Faridabad district.
The Deputy Commissioners, District Education Officers and District Elementary Education Office have been asked to ensure the compliance of the directions in letter and spirit, Haryana Education department spokesperson said.
The DCs of all other remaining districts have been authorised to take decision regarding closure of schools till Class 12th on November 4-5 in their respective districts, according to local prevailing conditions of pollution.
