President’s rule should be imposed on West Bengal to control the “rogue” government: Supriyo

Kolkata, Feb 4 (UNI)  Union Minister and BJP MP from Asansol Babul Supriyo has said that President’s rule should be imposed on West Bengal to control the “rogue” government.

He said that this is a constitutional crisis created by Mamata Banerjee to “shield her corrupt and tainted accomplices”President’s Rule should be imposed on West Bengal to control this ‘Rogue’ #TMchhi Govt under a corrupt CM MamtaBanerjee?This is a constitutional crisis ‘created’ by Mamta to shield her corrupt &tainted accomplices,” Mr Supriyo tweeted.

In an another tweet, he said, “Lalu Prasad Jadav calls Mamta Banerjee to say “Hum Aapke Saath Hain”What he meant was ‘Didi Darro mat, Brashtachaar ke arop me aap akele Jail me nehi rehenge – Hum Saath Saath Hain ” rehenge.”

State BJP president accused Mamata Banerjee of creating hurdles in the investigation into the chit fund scams and said she is trying to shield the guilty.

In a tweet Mr Ghosh said, ” In Paschim Banga, nothing is secure; neither the Democracy nor the Constitution and of course the CBI too.”

BJP leader Mukul Roy also termed the situation as a “constitutional crisis”.

Earlier in the evening the CBI had sent a team to quiz Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar for his alleged role in “supressing” investigations into various chit fund scams in West Bengal and

everyone by surprise Mamata Banerjee decided to sit on a dharna against the CBI.
