Raajhorshee’s Rifle will unmask illegal arms trade in Bengal underbellies

Director Raajhorshee De is shooting his third film Rifle, largely based on unpublished story ‘Khuchro Poisar Jonyo’ by Rupak Saha.

The film is an out and out feline pursue between IPS Pallabi Bagchi and illegal weapon vendor Hira Shau. Arpita Chatterjee playing Pallabi as Rudranil Ghosh is portraying Hira Shau.

Arpita said, “This is the first occasion I’m trying the role of a cop. The IPS officer I play is unpleasant and extreme, wise and confident. I’m extremely blessed that I got such a role. Today, the crowd needs to see ladies in enabling jobs.”

Rudranil is altogether outfitted to play the antagonist. On between two clapsticks Rudranil said, “There are numerous shades in my character in the film where I assume the role of Hira Shau. He is amazingly ground-breaking, multi millionaire, can talk in numerous dialects who just know business. I think it’s a troublesome subject that has not been managed in Bengali film for quite a while”.

Captain of the ship Raajhorshee said, “This is my third film and I like to repeat my cast panel. As a director I think and feel it is necessary to have a comfort zone between director and his team, so I try to cast my comfort people again and again.” (UNI)
