Sabarimala issue : Kerala Police warns those spreading hatred messages through social media

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 14 (UNI) Kerala Police on Thursday issued a warning against those who spread hatred messages through social media on Ayyappa temple issue in Sabarimala in the wake of Supreme Court decision to refer its earlier decision allowing entry of  women between the ages of 10 to 50  to seven-judge bench.

“Those who spread and forward hate messages through social media which are under scanner by the Cyber Cell of the police will be arrested under non-bailable sections and prosecuted,” an official release said here on Thursday.

“All the social media accounts are being monitored by High-Tech Crime Inquiry Cell, Cyber Cell, Cyberdom and  Cyber Police Stations,” the release said.
