The Department of Training and Personnel on Friday appointed Sanket Kumar as Private Secretary to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
“The competent authority has approved the proposal for appointment of Saket Kumar, IAS as Private Secretary to the Home Minister Amit Shah in the Ministry of Home Affairs with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest”, the DoPT notification said.
Mr Kumar also served as Private Secretary to Miniater of States Manoj Sinha in the previous NDA Government.
