On the golden sea-beach of Puri, international sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has created a sand art on the occasion of World Environment Day. ‘Air Pollution’ is the theme for the 2019 World Environment Day.
Sahoo’s message through his sand art is: “Let’s all plant trees together and help to generate fresh air.”
In this 20 feet wide sand art, Sahoo has shown in a very artistic manner how a tree is the most valuable wealth and how to make the whole world green by planting and protecting trees. Sahoo’s creation required 20 tonnes of sand and it took Sahoo and the students of his institute nearly eight hours to complete it.
