The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to stall the release of film ‘Ram Ki Janmabhoomi’, (a film based and revolving around the controversial issue of Ram Mandir) scheduled to be released across the country on March 29.
A bench of the apex court, headed by Justice SA Bobde, refused to stay the film, ‘Ram ki Janmabhoomi,’ after noting that the petition lacked merit.
The petitioner, Prince Tucy, had filed the petition before the top court seeking stay on the release of the film, ‘Ram ki Janmabhoomi.’
No movie can come in the way of mediation in Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid matter, the Supreme Court said, and refused to entertain the petition of Prince Tucy. (UNI)
