Mumbai, Nov 22 (UNI) Senior journalist Nilkanth Khadilkar, the editor of Marathi newspaper Navakal, passed away on Friday after brief illness at a private hospital in Bandra here, family sources said.
He was 85. He gained popularity for his hard-hitting editorials which became the daily’s popular feature and was the editor of the newspaper for 27 years. He penned few books, including “Practical Socialism: musings from a tour of Russia”.
