Traffic was disrupted on Tuesday morning after a suspected IED like object was found by the Road Opening Party (ROP) on Rajouri highway in Jammu and Kashmir. Police sources said that Army’s ROP noticed some explosive-like object in Rajouri highway following which Bomb Disposal Squad was pressed into service.
“The traffic was suspended from both sides and the object was defused on the spot,” they said, adding that whether it was an IED or crude explosive, is being ascertained. Traffic was resumed later.
