Two soldiers, who were critically injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Pulwama, died in the hospital on Tuesday, a defence ministry spokesman said.
He said six soldiers were injured when militants detonated an IED targeting Army patrol vehicle at village Arihal, Pulwama in south Kashmir last evening.
The injured were brought to 92 Army base hospital at Badamibagh, he said, adding two of the critically wounded soldier succumbed. ‘We deeply mourn the demise of our bravehearts,’ Colonel Rajesh Kalia said. Two civilians were also injured in the blast.
