Pune, Dec 5: Very rough to high sea condition is very likely over southwest Arabian Sea and along&off Somalia coast whereas rough to very rough sea condition very likely over eastcentral Arabian Sea, as per India Meteorological Department.

Gale winds with speed 65-75 kmph gusting to 85 kmph very likely over southwest Arabian Sea whereas squally winds with speed 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph very likely over eastcentral Arabian Sea. During next 24 hours, strong winds with speed reaching up to 30-40 kmph likely along&off Maharashtra as well as Goa coasts.

Squally weather very likely to prevail over Comorin-Maldives area, the weatherman said. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Night temperatures were above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka,Kerala as well as in remaining parts of east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Rajasthan,Tamil Nadu as well as in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra and Telangana.

The lowest minimum temperature of 4.7 degrees Celsius was recorded at Ludhiana in Punjab.

Dense fog very likely in isolated pockets over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, south Assam,Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. At 0830 hrs Thursday, very dense fog observed in isolated pockets over Punjab and Haryana whereas dense fog observed in isolated places over Uttar Pradesh.

At 0830 hrs Thursday, 25 meter visibility was recorded at Amritsar, Patiala and Karnal whereas Ludhiana, Fursatganj and Bareilly recorded 200 meter visibility. The northeast monsoon has subdued over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
