Virat Kohli should be given some time off, says Michael Vaughan

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan feels that Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, who is leading Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), should be given a rest from the remainder of the league ahead of the ICC World Cup.
The former English cricketer’s comment comes in the wake of RCB’s dismal show in the ongoing 12th edition of the cash-rich league as they suffered sixth straight defeat on Sunday against new-look Delhi Capitals by four-wickets at Bengaluru.
Vaughan took to twitter to share his view over Kohli.
“If India are smart they rest @imVkohli now for the World Cup … Give him some time off before the big event … #IPL2019,” Vaughan wrote on Twitter.
Now, RCB need to win all their remaining eight matches to make it into the playoff stage.
Earlier, Kohli, who led India to some historical series wins in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand in 2018-19, stressed on the need for workload management of his World Cup-bound India teammates.
Indian cricket team will start their World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 5. The quadrennial Cup is scheduled to begin from May 30 in England and Wales.
