Voters stood in long queue in different polling stations though at some places EVM problems hindered the smooth pace of voting under East Tripura parliamentary constituency in district of Dhalai here today.
In maximum polling stations of the 45 Kamalpur assembly segment long queues of voters found from early dawn. In bordering village of Malaya, at Fulchari High School voters gathered with traditional festive mood. However, in Mohanpur and in polling booth 14 of Kamalpur voting hindered due to the problems in EVMs.
In first one hour the rate of casting recorded 15 to 17 per cent in different parts of the district. (UNI)
