Lucknow, Oct 5 (UNI) On lines of Maharashtra government, Uttar Pradesh government is mulling to provide legal security to working journalists in the state. Lucknow working journalist association general secretary Vishwa Dev Rao said here on Saturday that UP government was planning to frame legal security regulations for working journalists as implemented by Maharashtra government.

Mr Rao said that a delegation of working journalists met with CM Yogi and presented their concerns. Delegation members mentioned recent attacks on journalists in several districts in front of CM. CM Yogi also urged to point out fake journalists and other unwanted elements. He also assured to think about pension and residence issues of journalists.
