New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was on Saturday honoured with the ‘Tagore Peace Award 2018’ by Kolkata-based Asiatic Society here. President of the Asiatic Society Isha Mahammad handed over the award to Prime Minister Hasina. “The Asiatic Society is honoured to confer the ‘Tagore Peace Award 2018″ to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her contribution towards human understand and peace,” the citation said. Speaking on the occasion, Ms Hasina dedicated the award to the people of Bangladesh thanking them for reposing faith in her in the recent elections.
