BHUBANESWAR: Odisha’s sprinter Jayanti Behera has bagged the100m, 200m and 400m Gold Medals in the T-47 category at theongoing 19th National Para-Athletics Championship in Bengaluru.
She won the top honour by clocking 59.43 seconds.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has wished Jayanti the best for the future.
The Sports & Youth Services Department has also congratulated Jayanti on her achievement.
“Odisha’s enigmatic sprinter Jayanti Behera clinched a golden treble, winning the 100m, 200m & 400m events in women’s T-47 category at the 19th National Para Athletics Championship in Bengaluru.
She bagged golden treble in Para Athletics Nationals for the 5th time in a row !”, the Department Tweeted.
