Mumbai: Playing a character you relate to is extremely important. It makes you grow and discover more about yourself. Aman Gandhi who plays the character Shikhar, the younger brother of Manit Joura aka Harsh Shastri in Dangal TV’s Prem Bandhan talks about how he learns from his character and wants to explore more.
Aman is extremely happy with his role and talks about it, he says, “My character name is Shikhar who is a very fun-loving, caring but yet a mature person. He stands up for people who he loves and keeps a balance between his fun and mature trait. I can absolutely relate to his fun part as I’m the same off screen, but sometimes I do get jealous as I’m not as mature as him in different situations. This is something I learn everyday from my character and it helps me to grow and explore more.”
He adds, “I’ve seen many cliche roles of younger brothers being very chirpy and funny, but in my case he is very mature and sensible as even the entire family listens to him. This is something very special to look and I take back from it.”
Aman is grateful to the entire team of writers and creatives for creating such an amazing character. They have given so much depth and meaning to it and he absolutely loves it.
