New Delhi: The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has congratulated Harnaaz Sandhu on being crowned Miss Universe. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said; “Congratulations to Harnaaz Sandhu on being crowned Miss Universe. Best wishes to her for her future endeavours.”
The 21-year-old model from Punjab represented India crowned 70th Miss Universe competition held in Eilat, Israel. She brought home the crown 21 years after actor Lara Dutta won the title in 2000.
