Another community member mentioned, “I live with my children and daughter-in-law here. My little granddaughter is especially excited to meet Mr. Modi. Our family is waiting for his visit.”

A woman who has witnessed the changes since 2014 expressed, “Everything has improved, especially with France. We feel like we are both French and Indian. We have great ties with France, and it’s a new chapter for us.”

An individual, who has lived in France since 1986, said, “I work in government service here. We’re all excited to welcome Modi ji as a community. It’s a great moment for India and France.”

A Frenchman spoke about the growing relationship between the two countries. “In the last seven years, our ties have strengthened. I’ve visited India five times, and I love the country. Relations are getting better every day.”

A young man shared his excitement: “It’s a big honor to welcome Modi ji. He’s doing great work in India, especially with AI. The partnership between India and France is very promising, and we hope it continues in the future.”

He added, “Modi ji’s promises have always been kept. A new consulate is being built in Marseille, and students have more opportunities to stay and integrate. It’s a win-win for both nations.”

Another member of the diaspora emphasized the shared values between India and France. “Both countries are multi-polar. We don’t follow any major powers but carve our own path. We need to focus more on being independent and empowering the Indian diaspora.”

Prime Minister Modi’s visit to France is generating a lot of excitement. He will co-chair the AI Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron on February 10-11, where AI innovation and global governance will be discussed. The summit will welcome over 100 countries and top experts. India’s involvement will be crucial in shaping AI’s future.
