Agniveer Recruitment Scam Foiled: A vigilant surveillance operation by the Indian Navy has thwarted an attempted recruitment malpractice during the ongoing Agniveer recruitment process at INS Chilka.
During routine surveillance, personnel at INS Chilka detected suspicious activity that suggested a candidate may have been approached with a monetary demand. Acting swiftly, the Navy’s surveillance team identified a potential suspect and immediately relayed the intelligence to local authorities.
Based on the input, the Balugaon Police Station under the Odisha Police launched a prompt investigation and successfully apprehended the accused involved in the alleged malpractice.
The Indian Navy has confirmed its full cooperation with the police as the investigation continues, reiterating its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.
