Delhi Odia Students’ Association celebrate Utkal Diwas

New Delhi: Remembering all the heroes of freedom struggle, the students of Delhi Odia Students’ Association (DOSA) have paid their tributes remembering and spreading the legacy, culture and history of Odisha at Gandhi Bhawan, North Campus, Delhi University.

The event was graced by the chief guest of the event  Pratap Chandra Sarangi Member of parliament and Guest of Honour Biswajit Pani, Dean of Colleges, DU along with Bijaylaxmi Nanda, Principal of Miranda House. The welcome address was presented by Akphan Behera, President of DOSA followed by a panel discussion by Prof. Kamla Kant on Youth Engagement in Politics: Indifferent or just different.

The annual magazine, “Malancha” was launched followed by cultural events which included Odissi and Sambalpuri dance, singing the state anthem, and learning more about the rich culture, tradition, and linguistic heritage of the motherland. Finally, the vote of thanks was presented by Anuska Bhuyan, Vice President of DOSA followed by a grand dinner.
