New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Awards Ceremony in Mumbai at around 5 P.M. tomorrow. On this occasion, Modi will be conferred First Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award.
This award has been instituted in memory of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar who passed away in February this year. The award will be given annually to a person who has made a path-breaking, spectacular and exemplary contribution to the nation and its people.
While announcing the award, Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Smruti Pratishthan said that Modi is an international statesman who has put India on the path of global leadership. Calling Modi an inspiration, the organisation said, he is one of the greatest leaders that India has seen in its glorious history.
