Former Minister K.P Singh Deo proposes Bharat Ratna for Netaji

Dhenkanal, Odisha, Former Central Information and Broadcasting minister Brigadier K.P Singh Deo has proposed Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award for Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Paying tribute to Netaji today at Dhenkanal, Brigadier Singh Deo has said that the country is obliged to Netaji for his sacrifice for the motherland.

Addressing a meeting organised by Dhenkanal Sachetan Nagarik Forum as Chief guest, on the occasion of 125th Birth anniversary of Netaji and 212th Birth anniversary of Veer Surendra Sai, Brigedier Singh Deo has advised the organisers to send request letters to President of India, Prime Minister, Governor and Chief Minister of Odissa on this line. Joining in the meeting as guest of honour, Shri Nabin Chandra Narayan Das former minister of Odissa had discussed the life and sacrifices of Netaji and Surendra Sai.
