Hema Malini Celebrates Holi: Veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini participated in a special event organized by BJP leader and MP Sambit Patra in Puri, where she celebrated Holi with grandeur.
The event, which blended tradition and festivity, saw Hema Malini taking part in flower showers, Fagua dance, and Naga Medha performances. On Saturday morning, she visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri, offered prayers, and sought the blessings of Lord Jagannath.
Expressing her joy, she said, “I feel blessed to celebrate Holi in Puri. I have come from Mathura. Yesterday, we celebrated Holi in Mathura, and today we are celebrating it here. I thank the Odisha government, the public, and Sambit Patra for the wonderful arrangements made here.”
BJP MP Sambit Patra stated, “Hema Malini has traveled from Mathura to Jagannath Puri. Yesterday, she participated in the Vrindavan Mahotsav, and today, she is embracing Odisha’s traditions by celebrating Holi with the people of Puri with great enthusiasm.”
As part of her Odisha visit, on March 14, Hema Malini performed a dance recital in Bhubaneswar at the Vrindavan Mahotsav, organized by renowned flutist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. Sambit Patra presented her with a silver Tarakasi artwork of Lord Jagannath as a token of appreciation.
